Why don't you offer free shipping on all orders?
As a small business, packaging and shipping costs are substantial expenses. Free shipping usually just means that shipping costs are built into the product price in order to make the customer feel like they are getting a deal. Phyllis & Elsie values transparency in our practices and doesn't want to penalize our customers by disguising pricing and charging for cumulative shipping for each piece in an order that actually ships for one flat rate. P&E does offer free shipping over a certain order value as a token of our appreciation for highly invested customers.
How do you ship?
All standard orders from Phyllis & Elsie are shipped USPS priority mail, and a tracking number will be provided with your shipping notification. Priority Mail generally arrives within 2-3 days of shipping depending on your location, but I cannot personally guarantee arrival times. Custom orders may be shipped with additional insurance or delivery confirmation, which increases shipping cost and will be discussed when establishing a commission contract.
How long will it take to receive my order?
WildWhere pieces are cast by a small local family-run casting company and finished by hand in my studio. I make all other pieces individually in my studio. I do my best to turn in-stock orders around as quickly as possible, typically within 2-3 business days. Rings that are sized to fit will be shipped within 7 business days. If you are ordering a piece that is not in stock I will contact you with an estimated shipping date, as custom orders may take a few weeks to complete. If you need something by a specific date or would like to expedite shipping, please make sure to leave a note at checkout and/or email me at phyllisandelsie@gmail.com. Expedited shipping may incur additional charges. I will always do my best to accommodate your requests and appreciate your understanding and patience.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase/ delivery.
